What it is?
They are a young and ambitious Dutch company that originated out of love for bicycles and hunger for change. VANMOOF pursues just one goal: help the ambitious city people worldwide to move around town fast, confident and in style. They stripped the traditional Dutch bike from all the piffle that can only break and added sensibility instead. The result is a simplistic striking bike, so smooth that they fit all of the style demands, but yet so functional that they would make you go to work whistling.
Why it’s cool?
Now VANMOOF has opened VANHOOF HOME. A place where you come home to the brand, where you meet the people behind the brand, to learn all about the bike, the philosophy and the future plans. In this store you are part of the team where in cooperation with users and designers work together to hit one goal: design the ultimate international city bike. The shop is located in the head office and is surrounded by the workplaces of designers, vendors and the rest of the team. In VANHOOF HOME the consumer can see the entire evolution of the bike, feel and try. All the models of the collection are showed on a wall of 8 by 8 feet. The store is a ‘drive-in’ workplace arranged by BIKE DOCTORS. 2.0 The bike man who knows all about the different models. They perform repairs on your VANMOOF and give tips on how to maintain them the best.
